What are we doing on the 17th June 2016?: 

Residents and Staff at Green Gables are inviting the public to join us for Afternoon Tea. We will be holding some craft workshops as well as exhibiting our fabulous art work. Entertainment is being provided by the Choir of Christ the King Primary School and a Disco will also be running throughout the event.

1o why is our care home such a great place?: 

Green Gables is a welcoming home providing a wide range of services for adults with physical disabilities.

We aim to support all of our residents to be independent and get the most out of life - both in the home and local community.

The support we offer at Green Gables is based on what our residents tell us they want. We will always ask what you would like to do or achieve. Not only do our residents choose the activities they participate in, but they also choose the decor and furnishing of their bedrooms.

You can trust us to know what we are doing. As a charity we have been providing support to people for over 60 years and we now work at over 200 sites in the UK.

A recent survey on resident satisfaction was returned with comments like "Green Gables is A1", "I've lived here for 20+ happy years" and "I feel fortunate to live here".

Green Gables is well equipped and comfortable - somewhere you can relax and feel at home.

Our facilities include:

• spacious lounge

• specialised bath and wet room

• sensory room

• a lovely garden

We have a domestic team who make sure our home is thoroughly cleaned every day.

Our rooms

We have 28 bedrooms, 22 of which have en-suite facilities. Some also have overhead hoists and can be adapted to your individual needs.
