Queens Oak Care Centre is an 88 bed purpose built care home in Peckham, London situated over four floors. Permanent care in a nursing setting is provided for 27 people: Residential EMI care to 34 people and 27 people for Nursing EMI. Dementia care is provided on the ground and second and third floors. All areas of the home are accessible to accommodate wheelchair users.
Queens Oak Care Centre is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide the following activities:
¨ Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care.
¨ Treatment of disease, disorder or injury.
¨ Diagnostic and screening procedures.
The home is located at Peckham, near the town centre. There are good roads, rail and bus services and Peckham shopping centre is a short drive away or approximately 10 minutes if walking.
There is also a local bus service to other areas of London including London Bridge, Tower Bridge and other fabulous famous sites.
Peckham boasts a famous multicultural market every day of the week. Produce from all over the world are availble to buy and try
The Registered Provider of the home is Lancewood Ltd which is part of Excelcare, a private care company that has been operating since 1989. Excelcare currently operate homes for older people and younger adults in Southeast London, Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes and Essex.
Our aims are to provide a caring and secure environment within which people are treated with respect and regard for their dignity and well being.

The home has been awarded Beacon Status, the highest possible award given by the Gold Standard Framework for end of life care in care homes ( GSF). One of very few thus accredited nationally.
