The Threshfield Court team provide the very best in 24-hour nursing care for older people as well as specialist care for people living with dementia in their Memory Lane Community, for which Threshfield Court has Barchester Beacon Dementia Care status. Threshfield Court was the first Yorkshire care home to receive the prestigious Quality of Life ‘kitemark’ for a Butterfly Service in 2011 and has since maintained this for 3 years in succession. The award is independently audited by Dementia Care Matters and given for providing and sustaining high quality dementia care focussing on the lived experience. In 2013 the home retained its status, and it remains one of only 28 homes nationwide to have received this award.
