Home Open Day 2015

To embrace this year’s Care Home Open Day theme of “The Arts”. HC-One Residents will be creating pieces of art, using the ‘Water Colour Challenge’ theme.

HC-Ones strong links with their local communities will see school pupils, art college students and amateur art group members working in partnership with Residents to create wonderful individual and joint pieces of art that will be exhibited in the care homes so that they enjoyed by the wider community as part of Care Home Open Day celebrations.

If you would like to view one of our exhibitions, or simply share in the celebrations linked to Care Home Open Day on Friday 19th June you are assured HC-One Warm Welcome.

Join Residents and colleagues at Snapethorpe Hall for their 'a taste of Ascot' themed event, their will be a gallery, gift shop, movie theatre and a 'good old days' music hall. The Mayor of Wakefield will also be on hand to judge the home's Watercolour Challenge paintings and entertainer Doctor Bob will provide a wonderful peformance.

Situated within a residential area of Lupset, Wakefield, Snapethorpe Hall Care Home is a 62 bedded care home offering Dementia, Nursing, and Residential care.

At Snapethorpe Hall Care Home Residents have a choice of lounge areas overlooking the gardens which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings. We have a range of comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms decorated in keeping with the character of the house with views of the surrounding countryside. Our Chefs pride themselves in knowing the tastes of our Residents and preparing a choice of home cooked, fresh, nutritional meals and catering for any dietary and cultural needs.

At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
