What are we doing on the 16th June 2017?:

The Home will be hosting a high tea for all visitors and resident at the Home.

Anyone is welcome to come along and have a chat with the residents and staff while enjoying a cup of tea!

Music from the 40's will be played with a singalong session, reminiscene with out iPad using the 'House of Memory' app which is great conservation starter. Our theme for the open day is friendship and all visitos to the Home will be included in participating in the discussion.

The Open Day will be held from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

Parking is available at the front of the Home.

So why is our care home such a great place?

1o why is our care home such a great place?:

The Home offers a homely environment with 24 rooms. The staff are not only qualified but passionate and friendly. The open door policy of the Home allows for an approachable and hands on management team which leads to better team work and care provision.

The Home has had an Good rating from Harrow Social Services and currently holds a 'Good' rating with the Care Quality Commission. The Home has renewed its 5 star rating for its kitchen from Environmental Health.

24 rooms are individually decorated and are offered with a hospital bed and call bell system in place. 24 hour staffing is offered providing 1:4 care ratio. There are assisted with bath and showering facilities are offered with hourly checks of all residents. There is visiting hairdresser (weekly), chiropodist and optical services onsite. There areregular checks from the local church services.

The Home offers pet therapy with Marmalade, a labrador who visits weekly to adds a smile to everyones faces.

The meal provision at the Home is included as part of the service where we cater for likes/dislikes as well as dietry requirements (gluten free, veegtarian, halal, kosher etc).

Laundry facilities including ironing are also included as part of the service at the Home.
